| Gyalwang Drukpa receives Bharat Jyoti award |

The award was received by Kyabje Kunga Rinpoche on behalf of the head of the Drukpa Lineage. This award, a press release informs, re-establishes the contribution of Gyalwang Drukpa towards the betterment of society and spreading the message of live to love among people in the world, especially in the areas of promoting gender equality, protecting environment and preserving cultural and social heritages in the Himalayas.
